crochet a creation.

i found a solution to the ganache issue. make a chocolate ganache tart. easy recipe especially since the ganache is already made! yum...i'll let you know how it tastes!

my sister got me this cookbook for christmas and at first i was somewhat intimidated by the recipes because of the pictures and titles of the recipes. but after looking through it more thoroughly, i am more confident that i can probably successfully attempt making some of the meals and them actually turn out decent! so here's to eating simply organic!

if you know me at all, you know that i love paris. i've had a fascination with it since i started traveling. i'd give anything for this picture to be taken from my camera looking out of my window. one day i want to spend time in paris exploring and saturating myself in the culture. walking to and from places, fresh food markets, crepes, design, books, museums, food and wine. you want to go now don't you?

here's my masterpiece! i somewhat learned how to crochet a few weeks ago and got a bit frustrated with it and set it aside. then over the weekend scotts nanny and aunt helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel and i'd like to call myself a pro. this only took me a few hours to do. it's  soft grey wool yarn and it's fairly wide and very warm! i'm going to buy some different colors so i can keep making them!

i want to go to paris now! when i was in poland, in the town square, there were fresh fruit and flower markets everywhere...it was amazing. we should all move to europe. you, scott, kathleen, jeff, jax, aj, emily and me. what do you think?

i miss you katie! i hope that you are doing well! :)
